AWITLOs are due every two weeks (every-other-Wednesday). Pay attention to the due date as you may not have Computer class on a Wednesday that week. You can turn in an AWITLO anytime during that 2-week time frame. You are to write about what is happening in your life during that particular time frame. The AWITLO format is in the "Computer Class" folder waiting for you to open and type on. Be sure to pay attention to a change in a deadline if there is not school on a Wednesday (or Thursday) that the AWITLO is due on. Be sure to label your AWITLO correctly.
These AWITLOs are 15% of your overall grade in Computer class.
AWITLOs must include: ~ Your first and last name ~ Dates (those 2 weeks that you are writing about) ... give us the dates from what-to-what? ~ 12 sentences (minimum) for each entry ~ Illustration that goes along with their entry (drawing, clip art, actual photo inserted onto page, scanned picture, etc) ~ PAL Teacher's Name... your computer class (1R, 2R, 1B, 2B)
**The students will need to bring in their AWITLO Binder towards the end of the school year to combine all of their AWITLO entries and more. What fun to look back at your entire 8th grade year in one binder! You can add any computer project to the back of your 'AWITLO' Binder - what an easy way to keep everything in one space! You have done several "AWITLO Extras" in addition to your regular AWITLOs this year. Those 'extras' will be added into your binder - be sure you have completed them... if you need to complete any of those assignments, scroll down a little further to open those dcouments.
**Several of these dates are 'noon dismissals'... be sure to get your AWITLO turned in before leaving for the day. Keep in mind, you do not have to wait until the due date to turn in.
