What do you do in Literature class? You guessed it - YOU READ! Sometimes students say they don't like to read... I say, they just haven't found the right book yet. In fact, last year one student (who didn't like reading much) said, "You were right - I love to read now!" He had started the reading The Hunger Games book series and just could not put them down. Take the time to find the right book and chances are, you will love reading!!
PARENTS - talk to your students about what they are reading... ask them questions about the book ... get a second copy of the book and read with them, this is a lot of fun, you can't wait to talk to your child about a certain chapter or scene in the book.
