TEWO #9: due Tuesday, April 15 for RED
TEWO #8: due Tuesday, March 11 for RED DAY (BOC) and Wednesday, March 12 for BLACK DAY (BOC) You may use your blue notes to answer the questions regarding the charts and graphs that we have been making in class. Be sure to include your name, class, date, and TEWO #8 on your paper. Save and print your paper. Either click your paper behind your TEWO tab in your binder and turn it in on the due date, or turn your TEWO paper into your class turn in folder by the due date. Remember that March 12 is a noon dismissal day so you will have a shortened class on that day... do not wait until the last minute to get this TEWO done. 1. After you get on Mrs. Driscol's class website, what do you click on next? 2. Which "tab" do you click on to enter your data for the chart? 3. Is the X-axis horizontal or vertical? 4. Is the Y-axis horizontal or vertical? 5. After you have entered all of your data and you have previewed your chart, what tab do you click next? 6. When you download your chart, you should click on the ___________________________ hyperlink. 7. A screen appears asking if you want to save or open your graph, what do you click on exactly (be very specific)? 8. Where should you direct your chart to? 9. When the screen appears saying "Download is Complete", do you close out of that Internet window? 10. After you have downloaded your chart, you need to put it into WORD, what do you do to get your graph into WORD (be very specific - you should list multiple steps - 3 to be exact)? 11. What tab do you click on to to have "no outline" and "no fill" around your text box or word art? 12. What tab do you click on to get a rectangular border around your page?
TEWO #7: due Thursday, February 27 for RED DAY (BOC) and Friday, February 28 for BLACK DAY (BOC) 1. CLICK HERE to take the QUIZ. The quiz is a about making charts online. 2. Answer all 15 questions. You can use your chart notes or computer for help. 3. Click the blue "Check Answers" button in the lower right corner of the test. 4. Your score should appear in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen. 5. If you do not like your score - you can click the "Regenerate Test" button in the upper-right-hand corner of your screen and take the test again. You can do this until you are satisfied with your score. 6. Take a screen shot of your score (use your notes - your snipping tool) and paste it into WORD. 7. Print your page, be sure to type your first and last name, class, TEWO #7, and the date. 8. Turn it in on or by the due date shown above.
TEWO #6: due Thursday, January 16 for RED DAY (BOC) and Friday, January 17 for BLACK DAY (BOC) 1. You will be watching a short video, you can use headphones - you can turn on the "Captions" (CC) on the toolbar of the video... turning on the "Captions" might be helpful even if you have headphones. If you are borrowing headphones from me, be sure to wrap up the cord and return them to the bin so they are available for other students. 2. You will be answering questions (either after you watch the video or while you watch the video) regarding the video. You might want to open a WORD document and have the video and document sitting side-by-side so it easier to write down the answers as you read/hear them. This is your choice. 3 You need to include the questions on your page. You can copy-and-paste them from here or you or can retype the questions. This is your choice. 4. Answer the questions below (answers should be based on the video) 1. According to the video, how is being online like real life? 2. What is the first basic rule of playing safe online? 3. What personal information should you never post online? 4. Why should you be careful about what you post even when only your friends can see it? 5. How can you respect yourself online? 6. How can you stay safe when meeting new people online? 7. Once you have completed this assignment, save as TEWO #6, print a copy and keep it in your computer binder. We will check the assignments on Thursday, January 16 for red day students and Friday, January 17 for black day students. If you know you will be absent on either of those days, turn your TEWO #6 paper in prior to your due date.
TEWO #5: due Thursday, December 12 for BLACK DAY (EOC) and Friday, December 13 for RED DAY (EOC)... 1. You are going to put 1 puzzle together - keyboard puzzle 2. After you put the puzzle together, it will give you a box to type your name inside - do that 3. Screen shot your puzzle and paste into WORD 4. Make a text box for your full name, class, date, and TEWO #5 5. You will have all the puzzle pieces on your screen, you can left-click your mouse to move them, right-click your mouse to rotate the puzzle pieces... CLICK HERE ... then scroll down to the "KEYBOARD JIGSAW PUZZLES" (puzzle pieces next to it) ... you will either have to click "RUN" or "OPEN" to open the puzzle ... do the 12-piece puzzle... GOOD LUCK!! 6. Notice the paper hanging on the side board - this shows how your paper will look when you are done
